The
Farmers' Market at Ruggles Park (corner of Seabury and Pine Streets) is open every Wednesday
from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from June to October.
This favorite gathering spot, along with the market at Kennedy Park on
Saturday mornings, provides Fall River residents access to fresh produce
grown on local farms and offered at reasonable prices. For the
Southeastern Massachusetts Agricultural Partnership list of all
of the markets in Southeastern Massachusetts and nearby Rhode Island, click

Farmers' markets
create a direct link from the farm to the city. Farmers carry their
goods to a central market where a density of consumers can view and
purchase fresh, local produce and value-added goods.
SEMAP is a regional coalition
of local growers, not-for-profit agencies, and educational and
governmental organizations that provides financial, technical, business,
outreach, and other support services to the agricultural sector in
Southeastern Massachusetts to help secure a secure and profitable future
for agriculture in the region.
