The FIRSTFED
Center for Breast Care at Saint Anne's Hospital offers a monthly
"Just
for You" speaker series, to promote knowledge of health
topics of interest to women. The series is held in the center from 6-7
p.m. Light refreshments are served. There is no charge, but seating is
limited and reservations are strongly
suggested by calling (508)
235-5289. The program on
September 29, 2004, featured Bonnie Phinney speaking on "Exercise is
Healthcare." Additional sessions will include
"Early Detection the Best
Protection: A Breast Cancer Survivor's Story" on Wednesday, October 27,
2004, 6-7 pm and "Colorectal Care and Women's Health" on Wednesday,
November 17, 2004, 6-7 pm. | ||

Anne's Hospital. Bonnie is a Certified Personal
Trainer with the American Council on Exercise and is certified with the
American Institute of Fitness Educators for Older Adult Fitness. The
program was focused on ways for older women to incorporate regular
exercise to relieve stress, menopausal symptoms, hypertension or other
conditions but who hesitate because they haven't worked out in a while,
are overweight, or have just completed therapy. | ||
