Young people at
the Lafayette and North Park Summer Neighborhood Festivals enjoyed lots of
vigorous physical activity, including dodge ball, hip-hop dancing, a
climbing wall, pick-up basketball and a basketball shoot-out organized by
the Fall River Youth Services Coordinator and members of the Fall River
Community Police Unit. "Kids are eager to be active if events are
organized," noted Christian McCloskey, Youth Services Coordinator for the
City. |
