The Quaker Fabric Corporation holds a company-wide health fair in cooperation with the United Way of Greater Fall River every other year. Every employee is required to attend the fair during the two weeks that it is in operation, ensuring that everyone receives a basic health screening (blood pressure and cholesterol) and information from more than two dozen local health care providing agencies. The Quaker Fabric Corporation is also working with the Diabetes Association's Employer Outreach Program on a two-year effort to train all Quaker Fabric employees in recognizing and preventing diabetes among its  employees..
