Environment and
Recreation: The
quality of the environment of any community, in many ways, predicts the
health of any population. Control of litter, removal of abandoned cars and
buildings and beautification efforts are among many of the challenges that
cities face. Provision of recreational resources, including access to
natural resources, and assurance of clean air and water are vital resources
in ensuring health.
