Community Planning and Housing:
The quality of the physical structures (e.g. buildings,
roads, water and sewer system, etc.) of any community determine many aspects
of the health of a population. Housing stock and affordability is a major
concern in Fall River. Upgrading and expanding the availability of
recreational facilities is another. And, major structural alterations to
Route 79 and the potential opening of access to the City's waterfront in the
future constitute some of the selected priorities for action.
Priority Sub-Areas:
5, A) Affordable housing
5, B) Waterfront access
5, C) Improvements in recreation facilities for youth and adults
