Adult Basic Education, Job Training &
Employment: Educational levels correlate highly with
measures of health in any community. Improving access to adult basic
education is one of the best ways of improving the health of Fall River
citizens. Better jobs leads to improved economic status which also
correlates with improved health measures. Offering job training, especially
to younger workers, can lead to better employment opportunities and economic
development, thereby creating a healthier community.
