Mayor's Office Housing Improvement Plan |

The
Mayor's Office plans to follow through with a plan to replace the Watuppa
Heights Housing Development with 100 units of scattered site low-income, owner-occupied
units which will offer the tenants of Watuppa Heights, and many others in
our community, better housing opportunities, while allowing for the
demolition and transformation of that housing development. |

The Fall River Office of Economic Development has contracted with BC Stewart & Associates of Boston and Lowe Associates of Chestnut Hill to develop a Housing Improvement Plan |

| Progress: | The Fall River Housing Authority has been authorized and is now moving forward to soon implement the plan to construct new owner-occupied and subsidized apartment units on the site of the Watuppa Heights housing project. | |
