Durfee Summer School |
|
over 350 kids of a variety of ages attend classes at B.M.C. Durfee High School during the summer. About 90 teens are enrolled in the Work & Learning program, while hundreds of others from area schools attend a variety of classes in academic subjects such as English, math and languages. Elementary school-aged children attend classes in theater arts, pottery and woodworking. The summer school program is offered on a tuition basis so the cost of the program is self-supporting. |
