Doran Summer School |
|
|
About sixty children in the Doran Elementary School district attend a free summer program funded by the Travelers Insurance Company with an After School / Out of School Time (ASOST) matching grant. Program components included art and music along with cheerleading, cooking and a sports and fitness camp. Children were able to reduce their "screen" (e.g., television, computer and video game) time at home while engaging in vigorous activity and learning some basic information about nutrition. |
