This
program provides outreach to youth in housing developments, neighborhoods
and parks through peer leaders who are responsible for organizing basketball
teams to participate in the Hip Hop Hoop-fest, the city-wide tournament at the
end of the summer. Teams will also perform a quick cleanup of the area as
part of the activity. This program is one of seven Micro-Grant Programs
funded by the 2004
