Community Mural Project
Action Plan Participant:
Lower Highlands Historic Downtown Neighborhood Association
Muralist Lydia Stein has begun establishing a team that can work together to make one or more murals happen in Fall River starting with one based on the history of the Quequechan River. Ms. Stein has set her sights on creating a team of young people in Fall River to create a series of murals over the next few years in an effort to create a sense of community among youth and to reduce violence and drug use. She will first be working with the Lower Highlands Historic Downtown Neighborhood Association to locate a site.

To bring the neighborhood together and reduce violence through youth involvement

Recruit and work with local youth to create one or more murals
