The Greater Fall River Fitness Challenge held its eighth Finale at the Eagle Performing Arts Center on May 15, 2015 celebrating the conclusion of the four-month series that began on January 10th with over 600 enrolled. Partners Health and Wellness Coordinator Annemarie Holly thanked the participating organizations, including All Generations Fitness, Cat Studios, the Fall River YMCA, Fitness Fusion, FitWorks, General Fitness. Greater Fall River Re-creation, TKO Fitness,  and Wiggle Kids. The series was sponsored by Partners, Re-Creation, Saint Anne's Hospital, and Southcoast Health. School participants were honored by Partners School Wellness Coordinator Marcia Picard for involving over 5,000 children in special fitness activities this year. Team winners included the PIs in 3rd place, Family Ties in 2nd place, and The Hunger Games in first place. Individual male winners included William Crowley in 3rd place, Christopher Murray in 2nd place, and Samrang Mao in 1st place. Individual female winners included Barbara Bell in 3rd place, Laura Pendleton in 2nd Place, and Sherri Rego in first place. Altogether, 935 pounds. were lost collectively by the participants.
