Dozens of people lined up for the opening of the
Southcoast Health Expo presented by WSAR Radio
and Southcoast Hospitals Group at
White's Restaurant on
Sunday, March 7, 2010. Over thirty vendors were on hand to provide
information, free samples and prizes to those who attended the free
event. Free blood and blood pressure checks were offered by vendors
and material was available about stroke recognition. As in past years, prizes were raffled off by WSAR Radio
staff and the entire event was broadcast live by the radio station staff
who used the event as an opportunity to do live interviews with many
representatives of the participating organizations. Click
