Seton Academy held its second Zumba-thon fundraiser at the Veterans' Memorial Auditorium at 72 Bank Street on April 17, 2010. Fitness trainer Tabitha Gendreau and three other trainers led over fifty participants in a 90-minute exercise routine. Zumba, a low-impact fitness workout held to Latin and international music, is a popular way to have fun while exercising. Parents, students and other supporters participated in the event. Seton Academy is an independent, Catholic-oriented school which is dedicated to providing girls of all faiths with an educational environment which represents their individuality, while encouraging them academically, culturally, morally, physically, and socially to develop their fullest potential.
