Community Development Recreation (CD-REC) and United Families of Fall River were the recipients of the proceeds from the first Rock 4 X-MAS event held at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium on Rock Street on December 10, 2010. Event promoter Wayne Morrison chose the location for one of his many fundraisers to help needy families that he has done over the years. The line up of bands included local performer Dave Baraby doing a Michael Jackson impersonation, local band NOY-Z TOYZ, Terry ILous of XYZ, Michael Vescera accompanied by members of the band WASP, Pat Travers and Cory Glover. The venue was transformed from a gymnasium into a concert hall complete with a stage, lighting and a special VIP balcony specially decorated for the event. "It was amazing what we were able to do here," commented CD-REC program director Jamison Souza. "I felt like I was in a major concert hall," Special guests included Mayor Will Flanagan and Senator Joan Menard who helped to support the fundraising effort.
