Artists
in seven sites across Fall River opened
their studios to visitors on November 20, 2010 to give the public the
chance to tour their work spaces as well as to get in some early holiday
shopping.
Arts United/Fall River
welcomed everyone with light refreshments
at Border City
Studios on West Street. Studios were also open at the Narrows
Center for the Arts
on Anawan Street, the Fall
River Art Association studios on Belmont Street, and MillBilly
Art in the Durfee Mill Complex on Pleasant Street. Spindle
City Ballet and On Stage Production gave people an opportunity to
experience open auditions for their upcoming performances and the Little
Theatre of Fall River hosted a "Backstage at the Firebarn"
with entertainment. Trolleys ran in a continuous loop among the various
locations.
