The
2010
Fitness Challenge, the third offered by the
Diabetes Association, Inc.
(DAI), Children In
Balance, Community Development Recreation
(CD-REC),
the
Fall River YMCA and Healthy
Lives Fall
River, held its seventh and final Fitness Challenge on May 1, 2010. CD-REC
executive director Grace Gerling challenged teams
and individuals to walk, jog or run the mile from CD-REC to North Park and
then to walk or jog to the top of the hill and back three times before
returning to CD-REC. Over thirty people took the challenge on the
beautiful spring day. The Challenge concludes on May 7th with a
finale to be held at the Eagle Performing Arts Center. Click
