Nearly 100 local professionals and community advocates attended the 34th Annual Breakfast meeting of the Greater Fall River Child Protection Council (CPC) at McGovern's Restaurant on November 3, 2010. Awards were given to Lisa Alves, Coordinator for the WIC program, and Joe DaSilva, Family and Youth Services Coordinator  for the Fall River Housing Authority. The keynote presentation on bullying and cyberbullying was given by Patricia Snell of Bridgewater State University's Aggression Reduction Center.
