The Diabetes Association, Inc. (DAI) of Fall River and New Bedford held their 9th Annual “Keep Moving for Camp Kyle” Walk-a-thon at Heritage State Park on June 5, 2010. The 5K walk kicked off at 9:45 a.m. under sunny skies following a morning of torrential rain. The event raised almost $20,000 to support Camp Kyle, a summer camp a unique camp specifically designed to support the social, emotional and medical needs of children living with Diabetes.Contributors to the event included LifeLine Diabetes Supply, Novo Nordisk, Wal-Mart, Southcoast Hospitals Group, Best Buy, Citizens Union Savings Bank, and New England Coin Laundry among others.
