Members of Fall
River's
Team FRESH (Fall River Extends Supportive Hands) hosted a training
for members of the
Massachusetts Promise Fellows
Program at the
CD-REC headquarters on 72 Banks
Street on May 28, 2009. The training was one of a series of monthly
trainings held at various locations throughout the state. Following
several hours of group work among the Promise Fellows,
Team FRESH members joined the fellows after they got out of school
at B.M.C. Durfee High School to lead teams in a downtown scavenger hunt
in which team members competed in identifying various Fall River
landmarks including the library, government center and the Battleship
USS Massachusetts. For further information about the event, contact Fall
River's Massachusetts Promise Fellow
Brendan Sullivan at
