The City has
coordinated cleanups in targeted areas in conjunction with neighborhood
groups and community organizations to remove litter from the streets and
sidewalks Neighborhood clean-ups have been scheduled in
the Bank Street, Lower Highlands Historic
Downtown, Highland, North End, Father Kelly, Niagara, and Flint neighborhoods.
Allied Waste has offered to
provide free disposal of bulky items and some electronics.
