Personal Trainer Amy Jones
of Where Is The Work-Out, offered a special, low-impact Functional
Senior Stretching class at the
Neighborhood Fitness Center at CD-REC on Bank Street for those over
55 between January 25th and March 28, 2008 . Designed as a gentle
stretching class tailored to senior needs, the sessions emphasize
functional stretching and relaxation in a stress-free hour. Amy guides
participants through a safe, effective and easy-to-follow program that
can improve sleep, soothe aching muscles, and improve general balance.
The class is offered as part of the city-wide
Fitness
Challenge which offers low-impact aerobic classes at the
Diabetes
Association, Inc,
Zumba
classes, and personal training, as well as nutrition
classes throughout the week. Participants
