Heritage
State Park was the location of yet another of Fall River's holiday
events held on December 6, 2008, for parents and children of all ages.
Children had the chance to shop for parents, grandparents
and family members with a volunteer elf from Santa’s workshop. They
could also get free pictures with Santa, do cookie decorating and
ornament making, have their face painted, watch Christmas movies, and
visit Candy’s Petting Zoo. The Trustees of the Reservation, the
Fall River Fire Museum,
and HealthFirst Family Care Center also had tables and exhibits. The
event was sponsored by the Friends of Heritage State Park and the
Massachusetts Department of
Conservation and Recreation.
