The local Fall River Child
Care Providers and PACE Child Care Works invited parents of young
children to join them on April 10, 2008, at the
Temple Beth El auditorium to celebrate the
National Week of the Young
Child. "The Week is a time to recognize the importance of early
learning for all young children, " noted organizer Eloise Carrier. For
the 19th year in a row, hundreds of parents and children got to enjoy a
variety of craft tables, games and rides provided by the participating
organizations which included the
Antioch
School, the Boys & Girls Club,
the Child Development Program,
Citizens for Citizens,
Family Service
Association, John E. Boyd Center, Kid's World Learning Center,
KinderCare Learning Center, King Philip Community House Preschool, Ninth
Street Day Nursery,
People Inc., Rainbow Bears Child Care Center and W.O.R.D. Inc. Child
