The third annual meeting and award dinner for the B.O.L.D. (Building Our Lives Drug-free) Coalition was held on March 15, 2008 at McGovern's Restaurant. The occasion was a time for BOLD to look back on accomplishments and give thanks to those in the community who have helped with the BOLD Coalition’s vision to make Greater Fall River a healthy place for our youth. Awards were given to the Fall River Police Department drug investigation unit for their work on eliminating the sales of drug paraphernalia in local stores and educating parents, Barbara Lamonde for her exemplary volunteer work on behalf of BOLD, and to Arts United for its work in involving youth in the arts.
