The third annual Flint Pride Days event was held on July 28th and 29th, 2007, at the Cash Street parking lot in the city's East side. The multi-ethnic event featured booths with games, food and items for sale from Brazilian, Lebanese, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish vendors. WSAR Radio was on-hand to do a mobile broadcast from a tent on one side of the parking lot. A variety of bands and singers performed on stage throughout the two-day event. This year's event was once again organized by the Flint Merchants Association's vice president Carlos Cesar. "It's a lot of work but it's worth it" said Cesar who has volunteered his time each year to put the event together. 'It helps to build pride in the neighborhood," he added.
