Following a successful 20th
Anniversary in 2006, the Fall
River Area Chamber of Commerce, along with a host of business
sponsors and community volunteers, and in close partnership with the
City of Fall River, again
produced Fall River
Celebrates America 2007 from August 9 - 12, 2007. In addition to the
traditional elements of the four-day event, which was named as one of
the "Top 100 Events in North America" in 2003, the 2007 event focused
attention on Veterans in several unique ways. The event began with a
celebration of Portuguese culture, including local musical performers
and dancers. The four-day event takes advantage of the waterfront
location from Heritage State Park to the State Pier.
