The
HealthFirst Family Care Center
gave Fall Riverites a chance to laugh at themselves at a "Fun-raiser"
sponsored by
Webster Bank and performed at the Jackson Arts Center on the Bristol
Community College campus on October 17, 2007. The audience roared at the
antics and lyrics of Charlie Hall's
Ocean State Follies cast
for nearly two hours. Poking gentle fun at everyone from City Councilor
Leo Pelletier and Mayor Edward Lambert to Buddy Cianci and President
Bush, Hall pointed up the value of laughter for good health. Other
numbers made fun of the Government Center and Braga Bridge repairs,
HealthFirst Family Care Center, the local diet and, of course, Lizzie
Borden's trial. For more
