Personal fitness training is usually assumed to be an adult activity, but recently Work Out World of Fall River began to offer a program for kids. Offered after school on weekdays from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., on Saturdays from 1:00 to 1:45 for 8 to 12 year olds and from 2:00 to 2:45 for 10-14 year olds, and on Sundays from 12:00 to 12:45 for 10-14 year olds, WOW KIDZ engages kids in the fun of fitness. The program varies from aerobics to hip hop dance, and from to teen Pilates to obstacle courses. A free day was offered at the April 29, 2006, open house.
