Over six hundred people had a chance to get some great heart-healthy exercise and raise money for the Hudner Oncology Center at St. Anne's Hospital all at the same time by walking in the annual Get Moving 5K Walk. Starting at the Diman Vocational Regional Technical High School gym on Stonehaven Road, the group warmed up to the sounds of MC Music Productions and Karyl Benoit and Kyra Cordeiro who led the group through a fun routine. Walkers followed a 3.5 mile route through the streets around the high school and ending at the school track. Many walkers were part of teams organized by many companies and organizations who participate each year. Click here to read the Herald News article about the event.
