When it comes to fun, the Family Service
Association Big Friends / Little Friends program means business!
The staff, adult mentors, and young mentees can frequently be found
traveling throughout our region, enjoying exciting recreational and
educational events.
Family Service Association established the
Big
Friends Little Friends program because children need the friendship
of a concerned adult to help them reach their full potential.
The "Big
Friends" and their "Little Friends" enjoy lots of activities. They talk,
laugh, play and just have fun!
The young
participants in the program are boys and girls from 7 to 14 years of age
who are looking for the guidance that can be provided by an adult mentor
in their life. The adult participants are men and women aged 18 or older
who are willing to share some
of their time with a young person. More information about the program
can be obtained by calling
Katje Fuson at
508-730-1138, X3155 or by e-mailing
