The
Fall River Youth Soccer Association (FRYSA),
with more than 800 players on 66 teams, held its final games
just before Thanksgiving, 2005. The Association promotes
healthy activity and strives to develop players at all levels of
play by building and improving their skills, confidence, fitness,
initiative and a sense of teamwork. It also promotes and encourages high
standards of sportsmanship and fair play. The Association also advocates
for more and better playing and practice fields throughout the City. The
FRYSA is a member of the
Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (Mass Youth Soccer), a
non-profit corporation dedicated to the task of promoting and enhancing
the culture of soccer in Massachusetts, the second largest state youth
soccer association in the United States with more than 185,000
