The
Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern
Massachusetts is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a wellness
program that aims to keep Fall River’s finest healthy and fit. The
program, announced on February 23, 2005, at police headquarters, uses new
telemedicine technology to monitor officers’ vital signs. A HomMed Kiosk
in the second-floor break room allows 100 officers who volunteered to
participate to check their weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and
