The 20th year of
the Summer Park and Lunch Program was in full gear at Pulaski Park off of
Warren Street in the City's center. Running every weekday from 10:30 to
3:00 p.m., from July 5th through September 2nd, at Ruggles, North, Father Diaferio Village, Abbott Court, Kennedy, Lafayette and Pulaski Parks, the
program offers sports, games, arts and crafts along with a free lunch to
anyone under 18. Run by staff from
Community Development Recreation, the program is an important part of
the Healthy City
Action
Plan to provide recreation and good nutrition to the City's youth.
