St. Anne's Hospital sponsors a Mission Day project every year. This year, on August 24, 2005, staff engaged in a Neighborhood Clean-up Project in the area around the Hospital on Forest Street, an event that fulfills one of the Healthy City goals of Cleaner Streets and Parks. By beautifying this area, everyone enjoys a better quality of life. The Department of Public Works will assist any group that wants to organize a similar neighborhood clean-up by supplying tools and picking up trash.
