The YMCA of
Greater Fall River invited all the members of the community to enjoy its
newly renovated facility, equipment and programs free of charge at its
annual Open House on December 11, 2004. Under the leadership of their new
Executive Director, Frank Duffy, the YMCA has just added $80,000 in new
cardiovascular and free-weight equipment and installed a Cardio Theater.
They have also moved all fitness areas and the child watch area to the
first floor, in addition to installing a handicap left to enter the
building and create accessibility to strength equipment and bathrooms. | ||

Members of the Fall River Y, they point out, are now entitled to full membership privileges at the YMCA Southcoast facilities in New Bedford, Dartmouth, Mattapoisett and Wareham.
